- 190 g plain flour
- 50 g icing sugar
- 90 g cold butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp water
Method
- 190G 170F
- Rub butter into flour-sugar mix until is resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add egg yolk and mix in.
- Slowly add water until it comes together (might not need all of it/might need more).
- Form into a disk, cling, and refrigerate.
- Roll to 2 mm thick disks.
- Place into sprayed tins and prick bottoms.
- Fill with cling wrapped baking beans.
- Bake 8-12 minutes with beans and 6 minutes without beans.
