You can use any combination of white and wheat flour. It is traditionally used with 100% wheat flour.

- 300 g whole meal flour
- 200 g plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 200 mL buttermilk
- 200 mL yogurt
- 1/2 onion, chopping finely
- handful of cheese
- 1 tsp baking soda
Method
- 200G 180F
- Mix all dry ingredients (including flavourful elements), into a mixing bowl with a dough hook.
- Mix buttermilk and yogurt in a jug.
- Add wet to dry and mix. DO NOT KNEAD.
- Tip onto a tray. Sprinkle with oatmeal.
- Cut an X 2/3 way through the dough.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
